Ο 27χρονος Paolo Nutini με τις πολλαπλές ιδιότητες του τραγουδιστή, συνθέτη και μουσικού, κυκλοφόρησε το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του με τίτλο "These Streets" το 2006 και κατόρθωσε να φτάσει στο νούμερο 3 του UK Albums Chart. Ακόμα μεγαλύτερη ήταν η επιτυχία για το επόμενο άλμπουμ με τίτλο "Sunny Side Up", που κυκλοφόρησε το 2009 και έφτασε στην πρώτη θέση του αντίστοιχου chart. Πέντε χρόνια μετά, τον Απρίλιο του 2014, κυκλοφόρησε το τρίτο studio αλμπουμ του, με τίτλο "Caustic Love". Σε αυτό το άλμπουμ, που απέσπασε πολύ θετικές κριτικές και ανέβηκε επίσης στην πρώτη θέση του συγκεκριμένου chart στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, περιλαμβάνεται και το κομμάτι "Iron Sky". Επιπλέον, τον Ιούλιο του 2014 ο Nutini αναφέρθηκε από το BBC ως ο μεγαλύτερος μουσικός της Σκοτίας τη δεδομένη στιγμή.
