56th Grammy Awards - Οι νικητές

Τα 56α μουσικά βραβεία Grammy απονεμήθηκαν τα ξημερώματα ώρα Ελλάδος στο Stapes Center στο Λος Άντζελες σε μία τελετή που διήρκεσε 3,5 ώρες με οικοδεσπότη των LL Cool J και μεταδόθηκε ζωντανά από το αμερικανικό τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο CBS.

Οι μεγάλοι νικητές της φετινής απονομής ήταν οι Daft Punk από τη Γαλλία, οι οποίοι έλαβαν τέσσερα βραβεία (καλύτερο άλμπουμ της χρονιάς για το Random Access Memories, καλύτερου τραγουδιού για το "Get Lucky", καλύτερης εμφάνισης pop συγκροτήματος, καλύτερου άλμπουμ dance/electronica μουσικής και καλύτερης επεξεργασίας ήχου) και το ντουέτο της ραπ Macklemore & Ryan που απέσπασε τέσσερα βραβεία επίσης (καλύτερου νέου καλλιτέχνη, καλύτερης ερμηνείας rap, καλύτερου τραγουδιού rap για το "Thrift Shop" και καλύτερου άλμπουμ rap "The Heist". Σε δυο κατηγορίες νικήτρια στέφθηκε η 17χρονη Lorde από τη Νέα Ζηλανδία για το "Royals" (καλύτερου pop τραγουδιού της χρονιάς και καλύτερης pop σόλο εμφάνισης).

Mεταξύ άλλων βραβεύτηκαν οι Led Zeppelin στην κατηγορία του καλύτερου rock άλμπουμ της χρονιάς για το "Celebration Day", η Alicia Keys στην κατηγορία καλύτερο R&B άλμπουμ για το "Girl on Fire", οι Imagine Dragons στην κατηγορία καλύτερης rock εμφάνισης για το "Radioactive", οι Vampire Weekend στην κατηγορία καλύτερου alternative άλμπουμ για το "Modern Vampires Of The City", ο Bruno Mars στην κατηγορία για τα καλύτερα φωνητικά σε pop άλμπουμ για το "Unorthodox Jukebox" και ο Kacey Musgraves στην κατηγορία για το καλύτερο άλμπουμ country μουσικής για το "Same Trailer Different Park".
